| - Des bocages vendéens aux marges de l’agglomération nantaise, la vallée de la sèvre offre de multiples paysages ayant subi diversement la dynamique urbaine durant ces 20 dernières années. L'analyse des mutations contemporaines de 11 communes, rassemblant : des campagnes viticoles densément peuplées, une agglomération urbaine née de l'amalgame de communes rurales autour d'un vieux centre urbain, des plateaux bocagers ou la rivière a crée un sillon industriel, permet d'allier deux thèmes d’étude majeurs de l’aménagement : l’étalement urbain et la protection de l'environnement. la présence de l’agglomération nantaise et le phénomène récent d'exode urbain, l'attraction exercée sur les campagnes par le pole urbain de Clisson sont les deux principaux moteurs du développement résidentiel de ces communes devenues le théâtre de conflits entre la logique des citadins et celle des ruraux. Un nouvel équilibre peut naître d'une politique cohérente d’aménagement, animée d'une volonté de coordination des actions engagées le long de la vallée pour favoriser l’émergence d'un paysage harmonieux.
- From the fields surrounded by hedges in Vendee to the outskirts of the city of nantes, the sevre valley offers various types of country-sides which have been diversely affected and over run by the expending city during these last twenty years. An analysis of the contemporary changes of eleven communes composed of densely populated wine growing areas, the urban agglomeration which comes from the joining together of rural communes around an old city center, the pastures of the plateau where the river has caused industry to develop has allowed two types of studies to emerge in the town and countryside planning : the urban spread and the protection of the environment. The agglomeration of Nantes and the recent phenomenon of urban exodus, the attraction exercised on the rural areas by the new town of Clisson are the two principal motives of the residential development of these communes which have become a conflict between the logic of the town people and country dwellers. A new balance can come from a coherent policy of planning brought to life by the voluntary coordination of everybody engaged in the life of the valley to promode the emergence of a harmonious countryside.
