note
- The aim of this thesis is to apply theories and metatheories of chaos to consumer behavior. The two first chapters concern the study of mathematical theories of chaos and catastrophy- on each occasion using a discussion of the possibilities of applying these in marketing. The three following chapters are epistemological : they aim to define a protocol to advance these ideas. two futher chapters study the links between chaos and neuronal networks, thus completing the first book. The second book of this work consists of four chapters on applications. The first chapter deals with psychological problems, followed by those on semiotics and sociology. Finally, the phenomenon of zapping is studied as a paradigm of chaos \"in action\".
