| - The business incubators are usually defined as supplying of resources that favor the fast growth of enterprise start up. However, most of the enterprises that receive the resources has been developing with a growth rate below the expected. The administration responsible for the incubators has been answering that problematic situation through the rationalization of the internal processes of the business incubator. This research works with the hypothesis that the growth of the enterprises depends more on the extension of the network formed by the relationships maintained by the entrepreneur before the constitution of the firm. To demonstrate the hypothesis, the chosen methodological option it was based on the analysis of the action and of the real situation lived by the entrepreneur inside of the incubators. In general, the results indicated that the rate of growth of the enterprises is related with the presence of fundamental entities in the entrepreneurs' precedent network. When your networks possess representatives of the technological knowledge, users/customers and investors, the enterprise tends to grow more quickly. To leave of those results, an alternative model of operation of the business incubators is sketched. In general, the results indicate the need to value the importance of the social dimension of the activity of the entrepreneur's work.
- Les incubateurs d’entreprise sont normalement définies comme des fournisseurs de ressources qui favorisent la croissance rapide d'entreprises initiantes. Toutefois, la majorité des entreprises qui reçoivent les ressources se sont développées à un taux de croissance au dessous des attentes. Les responsables des incubateurs ont répondu à cette situation problématique par la systématisation des processus internes de l'incubateur d'entreprise. Cette recherche travaille avec l'hypothèse que la croissance des entreprises incubées dépend davantage de l'extension du réseau formé par les rapports maintenus par l’entrepreneur avant la constitution de l’entreprise. Pour démontrer l'hypothèse, l'option méthodologique choisie a été basée sur l'analyse de l'action et de la situation réelle vécue par l'entrepreneur incubé au sein de les incubateurs. D'une façon générale, les résultats ont indiqué que le taux de croissance des entreprises est en rapport avec la présence d'entités fondamentales dans le réseau précédant des entrepreneurs. Quand leurs réseaux possèdent des représentants de la connaissance technologique, d'usagers/clients et d'investisseurs, l'entreprise a tendance à croître plus rapidement. A partir de ces résultats, est ébauché un modèle alternatif de fonctionnement des incubateurs d'entreprises. Finalement une contribution à la représentation plus précise de l'activité de travail de l'entrepreneur est rapportée en considérent la dimension social.
