| - De nombreux usages d'Internet et des dispositifs qui lui sont associés témoignent d'une participation et d'une coopération entre les usagers. Au-delà d'outils au service de la production, les technologies interactives semblent attester de l'émergence de lieux de socialité et de partage communautaire. C'est particulièrement le cas des logiciels libres (qui bâtissent des biens communs), des logiciels peer-to-peer (qui permettent le partage de biens culturels), des blogs et des wikis (notamment de l'encyclopédie libre Wikipédia). Ces dispositifs constituent aussi bien des outils que des espaces sociaux, d'entraide, de solidarité et d'échange. Leur conception et leur appropriation résultent d'une « construction sociotechnique » et d'un mode d'innovation dit ascendant, qui part des usages. Ces espaces relèvent également d'une forme d'organisation sociale à la fois étonnante et originale, tant par une certaine résurgence de l'économie du don que par la création d'une nouvelle forme de propriété commune. Ils semblent être accompagnés, dès leur conception, d'imaginaires, d'utopies et de valeurs proches des pionniers du réseau et de l'esprit d'Internet. Par une analyse des concepteurs, des usagers et des logiciels, il s'agira d'appréhender l'organisation sociale (les formes d'interaction, de participation, de communication et de solidarité) qui a lieu au sein des communautés en ligne.
- Many uses of Internet and its associated devices display the taking part and cooperation between users. On top of being tools serving productions, interactive technologies seem to testify to the emergence of sociality areas and community sharing. This is particularly relevant to free software (building common goods), peer-to-peer software (which enables the sharing of cultural goods) and blogs and wikis (especially the free encyclopaedia Wikipedia). These devices are tools as much as social areas dedicated to mutual aid, solidarity and exchange. Their conception and suitability result from a \"sociotechnical construction\" and from a mode of innovation known as \"bottom-up innovation\" which comes from the uses. These areas also come within a form of social organization, both amazing and original because of a certain resurgence of the gift economy, but also because of the creation of a new form of common ownership. From their creation, they seem to be accompanied by imaginary, Utopias and values close to network pioneers and the Internet spirit. The analysis of the designers, users and software will bring out the grasp of the social organization (the forms of interaction, participation, communication and solidarity) which takes place within online communities.
