| - The present thesis intends to propose a new analysis of a dramatic text and to predict a possible representation. Our purpose consists in searching for the \"hard core\" of the text, between the literary analysis and the psychological analysis. The means that we try to discover the principal pivot of the play-text. Naturally, we do have the intention of limiting the comprehensive possibilities of the play. Futhermore, the stimuli of the director are not rejected ; in contrast, we make an effort to help him to start from a more solid base, to have some references which could be used as a reflexion track. We chose to use as a model the dramatic works of Jean Giraudoux. The interpretation proposed combines two different approaching methods. Firstly, we realise an analysis based on the stage directions in the form of tables : the plays are defined through the stage presence of the heros, the quantity of their text, the dramatic relations and the conflicting relations among the \"dramatis personae\". Secondly, we apply a stylistic analysis by constructing a corpus of the most fruit ful metaphors in the plays of Jean Giraudoux, organised into motives characters and fields. Finally, we provide every character of the plays with the metaphor which is identified with it and then, we attempt to reveal the key-character of every play following its stage directions as well as its most significant metaphor.
- Cette thèse a l'intention de proposer une nouvelle analyse d'un texte dramatique et de prévoir sa représentation éventuelle. Notre but est la recherche du \"noyau dur\" du texte, entre l'analyse littéraire et l'analyse psychologique. Cela signifie que nous essayons de découvrir l'axe principal de l'oeuvre, \"l'ossature du spectacle\". Bien entendu, nous n'avons pas l'intention de limiter l'ouverture et la polysémie de l'oeuvre. En outre, les stimulants du metteur en scène ne sont pas rejetés ; tout au contraire, nous nous efforcerons de l'aider à démarrer d'une base plus solide, d'avoir un point de repère qui servira comme piste de réflexion. Pour cette tâche difficile, nous avons choisi d'utiliser comme modèle l'oeuvre dramatique de Jean Giraudoux. La lecture que nous proposons combine deux méthodes d'approche différentes. D'abord, on réalise la lecture tabulaire selon les indications scéniques du texte : les pièces se définissent par la présence scénique des héros, la quantité de leur texte ainsi que les rapports dramatiques, les rapports des personnages en conflit. Après, on passe à une analyse stylistique en construisant un corpus des métaphores les plus significatives des pièces giralduciennes, organisées par thème, par personnage et par domaine. Enfin, on tente de donner pour chaque personnage des pièces l'image qui le définit et ensuite, on dégage le personnage-clé de chaque pièce selon ses indications scéniques de même que sa métaphore caractéristique.
