| - The influence of natural ventilation in hot humid climates is shown by the study of thermal comfort indices. An experimental approach on site and in a wind tunnel has been developed. This study allows us to propose a characterisation of indoor natural ventilation by mean velocity coefficients . Various openings, upwind and downwind permeabilities have been studied and a good agreement between real scale models and wind tunnel ones is shown. Here and now, this work gives quantitative data about orientation and openings distribution for the creole dwelling, traditionnal habitat of the Caribbean islands .
- L'importance de la ventilation naturelle dans l'habitat en climat tropical humide est mise en évidence à partir de l'analyse d es indices de confort. Une étude expérimentale sur site et en soufflerie a été réalisée . Elle a permis de caractériser les coefficients de vitesse moyenne d'une cellule d'habitation type case créole en GUADELOUPE, spécialement conçue pour ce travail. Plusieurs configurations d'ouvertures et différentes perméabilités amont et aval ont été expérimentée : On met en évidence la répartition spatiale de la vitesse intérieure et son évolution en fonction de la direction du vent incident. On propose un e fonction de corrélation linéaire entre les coefficient. de vitesse moyenne en vraie-grandeur et en soufflerie. La soufflerie apparaît donc comme un outil fiable et intéressant pour la recherche de solutions optimales pour la ventilation des locaux. D'ores et déjà cette étude a permis de dégager d es données quantitatives sur l'orientation et la répartition des ouvertures dans le cas de la case créole, habitat traditionnel à faible coût de la zone caraïbe .
