| - La perspective de la création d'une AMP aux îles Kuriat au large de la baie de Monastir soulève de nombreuses interrogations quant aux conséquences d’une telle action au niveau du territoire. Cette thèse développe des questionnements à travers l’étude des relations entre l’ancrage des populations littorales au milieu marin et les mécanismes de résistances des acteurs locaux face à un tel projet. Deux axes de recherche sont explorés : une analyse historique du processus de construction territoriale à travers l’activité de pêche et une détermination des stratégies spatiales en milieu marin par la proposition d’une typologie de la pêche monastirienne. L’espace-enjeu ayant été graduellement construit, cette recherche explore l’adaptabilité de cet espace au projet d’AMP au regard des récentes tendances vers la littoralisation des activités économiques et aux conflits d’usages induits par celle-ci. A l’aune des changements politiques induits par la révolution en Tunisie, cette recherche tente donc de reconsidérer l’outil « AMP » dans un contexte local caractérisé par une remise en question des mécanismes de gouvernance territoriale et environnementale et par une analyse de l’évolution des approches en matière de conservation des espaces protégés marins et insulaires.
- The perspective of the creation of an MPA in islands Kuriat off the bay of Monastir raises many questionings as for consequences of such an action at the level of the territory. This thesis develops question settings across the study of relations between the anchoring of the coastal populations to the sea and ways of resistance of the local actors facing such plan. Two research dimensions are explored: a historical analysis of the process of territorial development and settlement through fishing activity and an identification of spatial strategies in marine environment by the proposal of a typology of the munastirian-fisheries. Space-stake having been gradually built, this research explores the adaptability of this space with regard to the recent tendencies towards the coastal development of economic activities and in conflicts of “sea-use” led by this one. By the yardstick of political changes led by revolution in Tunisia, this research tries therefore to reconsider the tool “MPA” in a local context characterized by a controversy in matters of the mechanisms of territorial and environmental governance and by an analysis of the evolution of approaches in conservation of the marine and insular protected areas.
