She graduated with a Psychology degree from the University of Konstanz, Germany. Subsequently she completed her PhD at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Zürich, Switzerland. After postdoctoral studies in Geneva, Switzerland and Edmonton, Canada, she continued her academic career as a lecturer and later senior lecturer at Bristol University, UK. Now in Lausanne, she focuses on two major research lines: 1) colour psychology with a particular interest in the relationship between colour and affect, and 2) cognitive and affective factors in adult belief and its formation. By today, she has contributed to over 130 peer-reviewed research contributions.
