note	Au cours de la première partie du XVIe siècle, la typographie romaine ne cesse de gagner du terrain en France (comme ailleurs en Europe) et prend largement le pas sur la typographie gothique au point de presque entièrement l’évincer à l’aube des années 1550. Pour autant, jusqu’à la fin du siècle, il subsiste en marge du paysage éditorial francophone une petite production recourant encore aux caractères gothiques. Ce travail propose de s’intéresser aux ouvrages où les caractères gothiques sont encore employés après 1550 afin de mettre en lumière la spécificité de ces imprimés tant au niveau de leur production que de leur composition et de leur distribution, dans le but d’expliquer et de comprendre la survie tardive de formes a priori démodées et délaissées. During the first part of the sixteenth century, Roman type continued to gain ground in France (as elsewhere in Europe) and largely took precedence over Gothic type to the point of almost completely ousting it by the early 1550s. Nevertheless, until the end of the century, a small production printed in Gothic type remained on the fringes of the French publishing landscape. This work proposes to focus on works in which Gothic type was still used after 1550 in order to highlight the specificity of these printed works in terms of their production, composition and distribution, with the aim of explaining and understanding the late survival of forms that were a priori out of fashion and abandoned.
