Quels arguments pourraient justifier qu'on privil\u00E9gie une lecture par rapport \u00E0 une autre? Et surtout que nous apprennent les repr\u00E9sentations en elles-m\u00EAmes ou dans leur rapport \u00E0 leur contexte? Le but de cette \u00E9tude est donc de d\u00E9terminer quels peuvent \u00EAtre les crit\u00E8res permettant \u00E9ventuellement de distinguer entre fresques religieuses, profanes, d\u00E9coratives ou \\\"historiques\\\" en adoptant une m\u00E9thode d'analyse conjointe des th\u00E8mes picturaux et des contextes arch\u00E9ologiques. Pour tenter de d\u00E9gager les \u00E9l\u00E9ments significatifs trois lectures successives sont propos\u00E9es : une premi\u00E8re approche artistique, puis une lecture historique et enfin une recherche de la composante religieuse." .
