6). La papauté d'Avignon représente donc un des lieux privilégiés où s'élabore le système culturel classique de l'Occident.", "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/subject": "Vie musicale", "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/subject": "Clément VI (pape) (pape) (1291-1352) ", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/029815037/id" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/027253139/id" } }, "http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#type": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://purl.org/vocab/frbr/core#Work" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/subject": "Papauté -- 1309-1378 -- Administration", "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/subject": "Mécénat -- Avignon (Vaucluse) -- 14e siècle", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/027329402/id" } }, "http://iflastandards.info/ns/isbd/elements/P1001": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://iflastandards.info/ns/isbd/terms/contentform/T1009" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/subject": "Vie artistique", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/028696379/id" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/028696972/id" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/type": "Text", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/067059333/id" } }, "http://rdaregistry.info/Elements/w/P10219": "2004", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/language": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://lexvo.org/id/iso639-3/fra" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/title": "La Forge de Babylone, pouvoir pontifical et culture de cour sous le règne de Clément VI (1352-1352)", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/027564967/id" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/027407462/id" } }, "http://rdaregistry.info/Elements/u/P60049": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://rdaregistry.info/termList/RDAContentType/1020" } }, "http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/076158845/id" } }, "http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#type": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://rdaregistry.info/Elements/c/C10001" } }, "http://purl.org/dc/terms/temporal": { "__deferred": { "uri": "http://www.idref.fr/027810119/id" } }, "http://www.w3.org/2004/02/skos/core#note": "This work is devoted to the study of the links existing between papal power and cultural practices at the court of pope Clement VI, in Avignon, between 1342 and 1352. The first chapter is focused on the literary evidence of the time, which shows the vivacity of the debated about the Pope's symbolic choices: investment on cultural practices is in the foreground, both as a stigma, amongst others, of a Papacy in search of temporal power and as a dinstinctive trait of a papal government conceived as magnificient. Starting from this observation, the Pope's evolution and his cultural universe characterised by scholasticism has been retraced (chapt. 2), as well as his role in the elaboration of a political theology conceived to legitimate a political usage of culture, taking the first step from a synthesis based on a particular version of Christian aristotelism (chapt. 3). This intellectual evolution coincides with a social transformation, mirrored by the existence of a cultural milieu composed by painters, musicians and scholars (chapt. 4), whose work is organised through an economy of production under the control of some relevant intermediary characters, such as Matteo Giovannetti (chapt. 5). Finally, this “curialization of the culture” is matched by the choice of encouraging new literary, musical and pictorial practices announcing modern Ranaissance (chapt. 6).
